Tech Worker

What they don't tell you about being a tech worker is how much overtime you work.
Today, I gave a presentation and was very useful to my teammates. I actively helped them, commented in a lot of threads, and drove conversations in a lot of different places.
I feel like I am just confident today.
I think it's because I went cycling yesterday. The thrill and adrenaline regulates me, and I just feel... more centered.
They say that people with trauma seek thrills to match the level of excitability they had in childhood. Perhaps that's the case.
I will be working tonight. My food is getting cold, and my laundry is soggy in the wash.
Not matching that european-esque quirky fun vibe that most neocities blogs have where you just ramble and yap and get angey at the world xDDDD !!!
I just don't feel like it.

My family is visiting me
Just wrote up a plan for my siblings to come visit me. Nice.
I sent it over, hopefully it's not overwhelming. I've already picked out a couple things to do, I'm hoping they'll highlight and ask some questions upfront.
Taking myself too seriously
Being too self-conscious.
Being too serious. I wonder what of it all.
I wonder.
I need to get up and dry my laundry.
