Summer
September 15th, 2025
I woke up this morning at 8AM and scrolled for a couple hours until 10AM. Then I started work, and simultaneously cooked me a hearty bean stew coupled with my green kale drink. I skipped the protein and seasoned my stew with herbs, salt, and pepper, and headed downstairs to run a quick jog.
I'm still recovering from the flu, so my jog was a little odd. I could feel myself a bit distracted and cognitively unaware.
Living in the city is nice, because you get more exposure to being observed and being around people. It takes less time for my body to get adjusted from being shut-in all weekend. I say this because I have this odd habit of my body being uncontrollable nervous when haven't being exposed to people for a couple days. I'll start to shake. After some exposure though, it comes to normal and I remember how to participate in society.
I invited some folks out. I don't like hanging out with Discord people, they seem a bit... negative and ill-suited for... socializing. No offense to my fellow Discord users, but if you spend time sardonically responding to randoms, making fun and teasing people who don't know your name, or just being a general hater, you do you. I'll stay over here.
I invited my coworker friend for dinner Tuesday. Then I'll see if I can invite Hinge girl when she gets back from her trip.
Love
I'll ebb and flow in my thoughts about whether or not I'll be able to find love. Not the slide-into-her-DMs-is-she-gonna-let-me-crack love, but moreso the old-couple-eye-contact-and-smiling kind of love.
Love...
