Six Seven

September 18th, 2025

I ate tinned oysters this morning. Paired with my bean-barley-brown rice stew topped with sauerkraut. The kraut gives the oysters and stew a strong accent, in addition to the probiotic benefits.

Not my picture.

After, I had to run down to the laundry room to grab my dried laundry. Last night, I procrastinated and spent the time writing yesterday's blog entry, so today I spent about fifteen minutes folding clothes.

I put on beige joggers and a white tee. I grabbed an e-bike and biked to the climbing gym. The rear brake was scraping metal, but unfortunately there was not way to report it on the app. You have to press a repair sign button to lock the bike and mark it for repairs. Next time I'll do that.

I climbed for about an hour (I flashed a V2, surprisingly), and then took the morning train to work.

After work, I played board games with my coworkers and had fun. I went home late. At the arrival station, I saw two homeless folks inspecting a bike. Unfortunately, one of them had their pants too low, and they flashed me.

Nonetheless, I got home safe and sound.

That Negativity

My first draft for this post was pretty negative, so I scrubbed it and re-wrote it in a nicer frame.

That there was tragic news as always, but life will pass on. I don't want to mention it here since, well, it's my blog and headspace! I have the right to decide what goes inside.

I'm excited for the weekend since I'll be able to buy my bike. I need to talk to the leasing office to see how I'm going to park my motorcycle. I also need to find where I left my motorcycle gloves...

Last night I tried the mochi cleanser. I felt my face was a lot cleaner and smoother. I might not need to pair moisturizer with it.

Infantilized

I've never been in a relationship, does that make me... not understand how the world works? I suppose so. Actually, who am I trying to convince with this question? Myself?

If I were to truly answer for myself, I'd say, "Yes, I don't have a complete picture of the world or human condition. But, isn't that okay?"

"I think, most importantly, that the way things are is simply... okay because I say so."

"I think that's the hardest part about life. I watch those reaction videos of people getting romantically rejected and they get really defensive. It's hard to accept that people will wish you this or that or put you down."

"But the truth of it is, my question to you, is that with all the world of expectations laid down upon your shoulders, who really matters at the end of the day?"

"You decide. You get to color in the picture of your reality. Other people might make noise, but you've got to listen carefully to what signal you draw from the noise."

"Noise is noise. Listen, and then modulate. Really dwell and meditate if the words coming at you are something you should let your reality be affected by."

"You've done a great job up to this point crafting a beautiful world. Just read yesterday's post. Now, are you going to let other people ruin it, so that they can satisfy their ego, or are you going to build a beautiful world?"
