What I do to stay healthy daily:

  • Eat 30g of fiber
  • Eat a lot of fermented food
  • Run a few miles
  • Lift heavy weights
  • Eat fruits, nuts, veggies, and seeds
  • Sleep before 10pm every day
  • Drink lots of water
  • Avoid fast food and oily foods
  • Avoid sugary foods and drinks
  • Avoid dairy and buttery foods
  • Sunlight: at least an hour of direct exposure
  • Sleep as long as necessary

Whenever I mess up one of these items, my mind goes haywire a bit. Like, the old neurons that replay heavy negative thoughts start firing off in quick successive motions. (Just visit any of my first ten blog posts... haha.)

But, I've been able to cure myself. I get sunlight and go run. Then I eat healthy and sleep long hours. I wake up feeling hopeful and refreshed. It's amazing how I can change.

Also, note for myself: all models are wrong! Watch your thoughts, they are your perceptions. Your perceptions, your character. Your character, your actions. Your actions, your life.
