A Gal Named C

December 14th, 2025

I will write how the date went here for posterity:

  • I enjoyed chatting with her. I think this was a fun first date.
  • C is a wholesome person, judgemental in ways, accepting in others.
  • She is the organizer, a camp counseler type personality. Extrovert.
  • She likes yapping. Her friends she keeps close and cares for. Deeply.
  • She doesn't like boba, but she likes bakeries and pastries. She likes cafe hopping.
  • Cutesy things, she likes. She spends time with her friends a lot, and ever since graduating trying to keep her days busy.
  • She brokeup with a boy recently, fired from her job, drama on a friend group trip.
  • She tried a bakery recently, went down to Mission for coffee, and overall enjoys exploring the city.
  • She bumps into people she knows a lot in Japantown and Stonestown, since, well, she grew up here.
  • She's afraid of the dark, rightfully so, some bad homeless encounters have made her uneasy about the whole thing of going out at night. Rightfully so.
  • I think she has an opinion of male vs. female approaches to the world, in that they're delineated in the way they see the world. I do think that the way society and the way we teach our children how to act and approach and teach are fundamentally different. I do think so. But I think, beneath the unique experiences, that ultimately, without the way of the ego and mind, that we are all really just people.
  • She had a pet hamster. I had a pet turtle.
  • She likes spicy things. She bonds over text.
